Location

Holt Bank is situated within Gledholt, a well established area of Huddersfield close to the large, beautifully refurbished Greenhead Park and overlooking Gledholt Woods. It offers easy access to motorway and rail links, yet provides a peaceful hub where you can base your stay in Yorkshire.

Huddersfield sits just to the east of the Pennines and is reputed to have one of the largest number of listed buildings in the Country. It developed world famous worsted suit manufacturing industry.

 

The mill owners and senior managers established their homes within the suburbs around the Town with Gledholt being a prime example.

 

Holt Bank was the Coach House serving one such Manager and his family, this has now been converted into splendid accommodation, ideal for your visit.

 

The Town Centre is only 15 minutes easy walk away, there is a bus service close by if required. Huddersfield offers a great range of choices for eating out to match most tastes, with its own theatre, cinemas, clubs and Pubs, something to suite everyone.

There are lots of interesting places to visit with Bronte Country, Last of the Summer Wine, Peaks and Dales close by. Good rail links make City days out easy.
